The first retro of 2015 has arrived and the silhouetted classic bringing in the year is the Retro 4's in Legend Blue or also known as the Columbia. As we all know the Jordan Brand will introduce Michael Jordan's favorite kicks which involve the Retro 4, Retro 7, and Retro 10, in a concept called the REMASTERED version or series. Each sneaker will be re-build on High Quality design, taking each retro back to the good old 80's and 90's on a new certified premium structure. The Company will not disappoint any Sneaker-Head with the upcoming releases, but first lets take a closer look at the 4's and the Premium detail that makes them Remastered.
The Columbia Retro 4 was introduced back on September 1999 also know as the "Air Jordan Retro 4+" , it came with a new look for the classic silhouetted retro. It went through some cosmetic changes, with more premium full leather construction. Some of the changes are as followed, removal of the plastic heel tab, and wings. Another major change was the netting from the tongue and side panels, replaced with premium leather and air vent support. The last piece to have no ignorance by sneaker enthusiast, the removal of the NIKE branding was sorely missed. This sneaker was release at $100, and in today's day the original release is a rare find, since it was only release one time.
FEATURES:
As we all remember the Retro 4's COLUMBIA was released in 1999, and this new release will be constructed just like the original. Build on an all Premium leather body, it features a nice air vent (holes) on the tongue and side panels, a glossy structure hits the side mid sole and front mid sole. Jordan logo branding on the tongue, bottom sole, and back heel. Finishing with Air-pocket structure to make it all fit in place.
