Marvin the Martian is a character created by Chuck Jones, who made his first appearance on July 1948. Marvin was created in concept of the Roman god Mars and was usually accompanied by his side-kick called K-9, although Marvin was characterized as a villain, he was quite charming and soft spoken; In which made him a popular character to love as a child.
Jordan brand introduces yet another Retro honoring the Mars cartoon character, by releasing the Air Jordan 7 Retro this weekend. How did Jordan and Marvin came together ? Well it all started with his appearance on the Movie SPACE JAM. It introduced Michael Jordan and the Looney Tune squad who fought to keep the tunes safe from becoming slaves in a space world. Marvin also participated in a 1996 commercial for the Jordan Brand and come across recently with commercial along side Clipper player Blake Griffin for his Super Fly.4 model.
