Air Jordan 1 Retro OG High "Chicago" ReMastered

The AJ1 OG High Chicago has been imitated and copied for the passed 3o years, but has not been Re-Mastered to look like the original 1985 model that we all crave. Let's take a minute to look at the history and the reason why this major color way was designed and released.

Nike was a major sneaker brand in the early 80's, but had a problem establishing itself in the Basketball scene; lucky for them Michael Jordan a North Carolina prestige SG player was joining the NBA family, with draft pick #3 to the Chicago Bulls. Nike saw the potential and decided to pick up MJ by gamble. In 1984 we witness Jordan's impressive talent during the Los Angeles Summer Olympics; where Jordan helped the USA team win a Gold Medal.

As Nike and Jordan moved to the NBA, the company introduced the Retro 1 Jordan's. The shoe did not meet the regulations of the National Basketball Association; finning Michael every time he wore the shoe during each game. This gave an outlaw look to the shoe and Nike utilized  this as an advertisement tool to whom ever wore the kicks was with outlaw activities.

Luckily for all of us Nike flipped the coloring and released the White-Black-Red model, this color was used during the 1985 to 1986 season's. know we see the second color arisen from the vault and long wait is finally over. Hope you enjoyed the info, this shoes will be available at both locations by Raffle entry only, for full details reach your local shop (click on contact above) remember to Like, Share, and Comment.
